(Nee PUDDIFANT)        With great sadness the family wishes to inform you that Dorothy passed away peacefully at Grace Hospital on February 3, 2019. Dorothy was born in Headingley on July 3, 1926 to James and Marguerite Puddifant, moving to Warren in 1936. Dorothy met Vernon early in her teaching career and later married in Brampton, Ontario in 1949. Relocating back to Woodlands in 1953 they farmed, raised a family and she resumed teaching. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Vernon, and siblings Kay, Harry and John. She is survived by her sister Jean Forrester (Bill), son Gordon, grandchildren Andrew (Pasheabel Davies), Carmen (Michel Dube`), and great granddaughter Parker; son Allan, grandson Trevor (Lisa), great grandchildren Annika, Espen, and Ivy, granddaughter Allana (Adam) Sawatzky, and great grandchildren Jase, and Aubrey. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and a private family interment will occur at a later date.
