Understanding what is important to you and your family and honouring the wishes of the deceased is what make each service unique and special. Ken takes the time to ask all the right questions and provide guidance through the planning process.
Some of the duties that Ken will perform are:
- Provide options on the transfer of the remains from the place of death to the funeral home
- Discuss prearranged funeral wishes with families
- Consult with you regarding the nature of the funeral, plan and schedule funeral services and coordinate burials and cremations
- Prepare human remains for funeral services
- Help you decide what options are best for you, such as readings to honour your loved one, a favourite song played, or a eulogy that is special and a tribute to their life
- Provide guidance and coordination in planning the reception and preparing the venue for you and your family
- Issue death notices and obituary to desired newspapers
- Inform survivors of benefits for which they may be eligible for and help complete legal documents
