 It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Elaine who peacefully left us with her family at her side in St. Boniface Hospital, in Winnipeg, MB on Thursday, May 15, 2025.

 Elaine leaves to mourn her children Marty Olson (Wendy), Marilyn Newton-Rourke (James), Shelley Steinbeisser (Kevin) and 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by her special friend Ted whom she had a special bond with, along with her sister and brother-in-Law Marian and John Logan, and her 3 special nieces. 

 Elaine was predeceased by both her parents; her sisters baby Laura Vineham, Irene Bazley and Linda Vineham.

 Elaine was born in Teulon – Gunton, Manitoba on March 23, 1943 to parents Albert and Florence Vineham. Elaine weighed 3lbs-14 oz, when born, so was a fighter from the start. Elaine lived her teenage years out in the Gunton – Teulon areas where she was very active and good in sports activities. Elaine remained in Winnipeg the majority of her adult life working various jobs in the cooking and babysitting industry.  She was a great cook and everyone appreciated her great meals that she provided. Elaine suffered many health struggles throughout her life which hampered her abilities to visit with family and such. They were all still very special to her. She was very quick witted and would make everyone laugh with her humor. 

The family would like thank the Doctors and nursing staff at the St. Boniface Hospital for the excellent care Mom was given during her stay there. 

Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will take place at Windsor Cemetery in Teulon, Manitoba Friday, May 23, 2025 at 3:00 pm.
