We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Kim Carlson on Sunday May 25, 2025. 

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Brian, sons Derek (Julie) and Lucas (Krysty) and the grandchildren she adored Rory, Casey, Blake and Scarlet. Along with their travel companion Taco. She will be sadly missed by her sisters Carol (Ron) Kozial, Joan (Bill) Jeffery and Wendy (Cliff) McIntyre as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She is predeceased by her parents Florence and Everett and brothers Reg and Ron.

Kim was born in Stonewall, Manitoba on April 9, 1962. She was raised on the family farm in the Gunton area. After graduation she went to work at CAE then to Magellan Aerospace. She then moved onto Kitchen Craft where she finished her career.

She really enjoyed curling and did so for many years touring around the Interlake for weekend bonspiels. A good time was had by all. She eventually traded her curling for winter getaways to their home in Costa Rica.

The family would like to thank the staff at Stonewall Hospital, STARS air ambulance and HSC SICU Unit 14 for the kindness, care and compassion shown to Kim over her last few days.
