October 28th 1971 – September 12th 2025

It is with great sadness that we share Robert William McGregor passed away on Friday September 12th at the age of 53. He fought a courageous battle after complications due to his cancer treatment.

 Robert is predeceased by his parents Joyce and James McGregor, his brother Jim, his in – laws Mike and Savella Mankewich and sister – in – law Patti Mankewich.  He will be missed by his wife of 32 years Denise, his children Evan, Emily and Owen (Hope), his beloved kitties Buster and Milo, his sisters Judy (Dan) Eluik and Tammy McGregor, his sister – in – law Patricia McGregor. He will also be missed by his many in – laws Marge (Bob) Kohut, Virginia (Ken) Crockatt, Harvey (Allison) Mankewich, Julian Mankewich (Mary Gaddi), Nadine (Blair) Coolidge, Vernon (Joan) Mankewich, and his numerous nieces and nephews.

 Robert was a very proud man and will be fondly remembered for his love for his family and friends. Robert was a hard- working man both at work and at home. His work ethic rewarded him with enjoyment in his favourite places Orlando, Florida and many campgrounds (once the camper is parked). “Everywhere Rob” loved calling Stonewall home and the connections he made with friends, neighbours and acquaintances through spontaneous conversations (especially at the car wash).

 We would like to send a special thanks to the staff at Selkirk Regional Hospital, the staff in the ICU at the HSC and Dr. Dmytryszyn for the outstanding care of Robert and the family during this difficult time.

Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Royal Canadian Legion, Stonewall, Manitoba.
