Perry Victor Jacobson

Passed on

December 23, 1961 – June 28, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Perry Victor Jacobson, 64, of Teulon Manitoba, who passed away peacefully on June 28, 2026, surrounded by his family after a courageous fight with cancer. He was a devoted family member, and a well-known member of his community. He cherished his moments with family and friends, and always had a joke to share. He is known for his quick wit and positivity, even in the hardest moments.

Perry leaves behind his mom, Monty Jacobson; siblings Tracey Vermette (Roger) and Mark Jacobson; nieces and nephews, Blake, Kelsey, Katlyn, Rachel (Riley), and Dean. He will also be deeply missed by his extended family and many dear friends.

Born on December 23, 1961, in Winnipeg, he spent his formative years playing hockey and spending time with friends. He spent many summers and weekends in Pleasant Home with his family, where he soon learned he wanted to reside. Perry moved to Teulon and made many memories riding his skidoo, quad, watching football games and going on trips with his friends. He also began working at an early age at Russel Metals, and retired after 40 years of service.

Those who knew Perry, knew he was kind and compassionate and would always lend a helping hand. Whenever you needed him, you just needed to call and he would be there. He was a man with a great sense of humour, teasing his nieces and nephews and joking with his friends. Perry will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Many thanks to Dr. Graham and staff at the Stonewall hospital who treated Perry with kindness and dignity. A private family ceremony will be held in tribute to Perry. Should anyone wish to make a donation on his behalf, please make them to the Teulon Health Care Foundation or Saint Stephens Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
