Peacefully with her family by her side, Joyce passed away on July 30, 2026.

 She is survived by her husband Denny, her children Denny Jr (Mel), Clayton (Tracy), Kara (Ryan).  She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Whyatt, Megan, Abby, Cody, Isabel, Jak as well as her sister Florence and sister-in-law Sandra Miller.

 She was predeceased by her parents, Asmunder and Hazel Erickson, Parent in-laws Herb and Isabel Procter, sister Shirley, brother-in-law Ray, brother Ernie, sister-in-law Janet, brother-in-law Ron Miller, brother-in-law Clare Procter, and brother-in-law George Henry.

 Joyce grew up in Lake Francis attended school at Warren Collegiate where she met Denny. They married on November 16, 1968, and raised their children Denny, Clayton and Kara on the family farm in Woodlands where she resided up until her last days.

We would like to thank the staff at the Stonewall Hospital and a huge heartfelt thank you to the staff at Rosewood Lodge for the short, but extremely compassionate and caring care not only for Mom but for making sure we were taken care of as well.

There will be private family service and we ask that in lieu of flowers please feel free to make donations to Rosewood Lodge or the Woodlands Legion on Mom’s behalf.
