Clifford Teichrib
Obituary
Passed on
On Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at the age of 71, Clifford Teichrib was taken from us to spend eternity with his precious Saviour. A husband, dad, grandpa, brother, and friend, we were not ready for him to go. He will be so incredibly missed by his wife Louise, his two sons Travis and Dana (Heather), his grandchildren Ashley, Hunter, Brody, Bria, Maxton, Syree, Loklan, Malachi, Evaley, Haley and Chloe, his brothers Bill and John (Agnes), sisters Ruby and Doreen (Brian), and all of his numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends. Born in Gladstone, MB to David and Katherine Teichrib on September 18, 1946, Cliff spent his childhood years on the farm working alongside his five brothers and two sisters. He later moved to the Stonewall area to raise his two sons, and what a dad he was. Whether he was throwing a football or swinging a bat with them, his joy in spending time and playing with them was so apparent. But nothing overshadowed his love and devotion to his Lord and Saviour. Never a morning did he miss spending time in the Word of God, fiercely covering his family in prayers. He worked many years in his own business, later working with Dana until he changed things up and went to work at Magellan. He moved to Stony Mountain after building a new home for him and Louise, and how he loved it there. He loved walking through the quarries and taking his golf cart around town. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He had an amazing love for each one of them, spending time watching them ride a horse, playing catch, being a spectator during a motocross race, going fishing, or listening to them play music. The memories he made for them will be cherished forever. His family will forever be indebted to him for the testimony of a just and upright man, a man of God. A man who loved people, who talked with anyone and everyone. He had this ability to draw the conversation to speaking of Christ. He truly cherished all things eternal over any treasures on earth. The sorrow and sadness of a void left in all of our lives cannot be expressed. But we choose to be thankful for the time the Lord gave us with him. We will cling to the memories and rest in the Lord. “Be at rest once more, O my soul, For the Lord has been good to you.” Psalm 116:7 Viewing will be held on Monday, May 7 from 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm at New Life Church Stonewall (6106 E PTH # 67) Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 8 at 2:00 p.m. at New Life Church Stonewall.
