Irene Joyce Meads

Peacefully, with her family at her side, Mom passed away on May 12th,  2017 at Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, at the age of 94.  Mom was predeceased by husband Albert, her son Arthur and her son-in-law Gary.

Left to mourn her passing are two sons, Ron (Janet) and Brian (Sharon), four daughters Lillian (Dennis) Robinson, Lorna (late Gary) Armstrong, Dorothy Meads and Lori (Kerry) Baldock, 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by Helen Kwamsoos, Dolly Mustard, Thelma Lawrence, Stan Olson and their families, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

We would like to thank the staff and families at Middlechurch for their wonderful care and compassion during her time there.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at New Life Church, 6106E Highway 67, Stonewall, on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 2:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Winnipeg Humane Society.
