Laura Agnes Enberg

Laura Agnes Enberg

Passed on

October 6, 1930 – January 13, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Laura Agnes Enberg.

She is predeceased by her parents, Laura and William, husband Edward, her daughter Cheryll and sons Barry and Wayne. Her brothers Bill and Dave and sister Maude. She leaves behind her daughters, Marlene (Jemiha & William) and Tracey (Mike) and granddaughters Laura (Alex) and Nicole. Her sister Edith (Gary) and daughter-in-law Carol.

Agnes was born in Argyle on October 6, 1930. Later she lived in Harperville with her parents and brothers and sisters. She married Edward Enberg in 1959 and moved to the Norris Lake area and lived on the farm for many years, Agnes was involved with the Inwood W.I. for many years. She also did lots of volunteer work at the Inwood Sports Club. She enjoyed going to dances with her group of friends a lot.

Agnes loved her oldtime dances with her friends. They would load up Eleanor’s van and head out to the dances for a great night of fun.

Mom loved her flower beds and would make Wayne drive her to flower shops. Her love for flowers and tomato plants was so much that she shared her bedroom with her plants.

Agnes will be remembered for her love of her family, a great mother and a loved grandmother. A classic grandmother at heart, she made sure no one ever left her home hungry.

Mom will be remembered for her quiet strength and her always being there for anyone who needed help.

As we say goodbye, we take comfort in a life beautifully lived, with not a day wasted. Her memory will continue to live on in our hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.

We would like to thank Goodwin Lodge for taking care of Mom.

A friends and family gathering will take place on Monday, January 19 at 1:00 pm at Norris Lake Cemetery, followed by lunch at 2:00 pm at the Lutheran Church in Teulon on #7 HWY.
