In Loving Memory

Curtis passed away suddenly on October 17, 2026, at the Selkirk Regional Health Centre following a courageous fight against cancer.

Stonewall and Balmoral Manitoba were home to Curtis, where he built lasting friendships and a life centered around the things he loved most. A lifelong passion for motorcycles and cars led him to a career as an auto body painter, a job he truly loved.

Curtis was happiest hanging out with friends in his shop, riding his motorcycle, and discovering a great place to eat. He always seemed to know where to find the best steak or burger around, especially when there was a motorcycle ride involved!

His love for animals was just as strong, and his beloved cats, Missy and Rusty, held a very special place in his heart.

Curtis will be deeply missed by his many lifelong friends and his work family, who meant so much to him. He will be lovingly remembered by his brother Russell (Melody), nephew Kevin, nieces Rebecca and Holly, his girlfriend Tanya and her family, along with all those whose lives he touched.

A gathering of family and friends will take place at a later date to celebrate Curtis’s life. Those wishing to honor his memory may donate to their favorite charity or the Humane Society.

The family would like to sincerely thank everyone who visited Curtis and offered their support, kindness, and encouragement. Your presence meant more than words can express.

Curtis will be remembered for the life he lived, the friendships he treasured, and the things that brought him joy. He will be missed.
