Oct. 28, 1926 – Sept. 28, 2018 Peacefully with her family by her side on September 28, 2018, our mother, grandmother, great-grandma and great-great-grandma passed away at Stonewall Rosewood Lodge Personal Care Home. Mom was predeceased by her parents, three brothers, six sisters, son George April 21, 1978, great grandson Jaimie September, 2011 and husband of 52 years Fred Amy March 27, 1997. Gwen leaves to mourn Sons: Charlie (Marge) Amy; Reg (Eva) Amy; Daughters: Betty Andrus; Darlene (Ed) Hubbard; Elsie (Paul) Pounder. 15 Grand Kids Ed, Shirley, Ken, Wendy, Bev, Curtis, Corie, Sherry, Tyson, Denise, Sean, Crystal, Lee, Stephen. There are 26 great grand kids and 7 great-great grand kids. Our family would like to thank the staff of Rosewood Lodge for the care and compassion they gave mom and her family. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 1:00 PM. at the Argyle Community Hall, Argyle MB. followed by burial at the Argyle Cemetery. Pallbearers will be the grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire memorial donations may be made to Rosewood Lodge Stonewall.
