Surrounded by family, Iris Ross passed away on October 17, 2024 at HSC in Winnipeg at the age of 77.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Munro, along with her children Aileen (Corey), Corinne (Dave), & Darren (Crystal). She also leaves her precious grand children and extended family relatives. Mom was predeceased by her son Blair (2004), her mother Edna (1996), and her father Norman (1980).

Mom was raised and educated in Balmoral & Stonewall. In high school, she met dad. They married and raised four children. Mom loved gardening, camping, fishing, making soup, sewing, cheering for the Winnipeg Jets and spending time following her grandchildren’s various activities. For over 25 years, she worked in the Lab & Xray department at the Stonewall Hospital. She spent countless hours volunteering in various community organizations. Mom was the epitome of selfless in her love, devotion, and care of her family & friends.

Thank you to the health care aides, nurses and doctors for their care and compassion in her final days.

Cremation has taken place.
