Kelly Anne Marie Lecoq

Passed on March 17, 2019

(nee BRUCE) April 24, 1974 – March 17, 2019 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kelly at Toronto General Hospital. Kelly fought extremely hard, with steadfast determination and dignity before succumbing to an insurmountable illness. Kelly is survived by her son Laine, daughter Camryn and their father, Dwain; sister Kim (Bobbie); grandmothers Marcelline and Therese; aunts, uncles, cousins and their families. She was predeceased by her parents Douglas and Yvonne; grandfathers Julien and Frank, uncle Gerry, cousins Shane and Oryanna. Kelly is remembered for being extremely astute and kind. She had an incredible sense of humor and always had the funniest of facial expressions. She loved all music and had a flare for mathematical genius that remains unparalleled. Kelly is most remembered for how dearly she loved her children, Laine and Camryn – moments with them were always most precious to her. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 1:00 pm. in Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, 315 – 2nd Street East, Stonewall, MB. A special thankyou to Dr. Nolan Finlayson and Dr. John Granton for doing everything they could for Kelly. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations in Kelly’s name be made to Stonewall Hospital. “Rest Beautiful – I Won’t Let Go”

Hello folks I am Dwain Lecoq father to Laine and Camryn! I am choosing to say a few words about Kelly for the kids so they know how great a person she was! Kelly was a wonderful mother caring for our kids when they were young she had a immenseful love for the 2 of you! Kelly worked hard and attended night university classes for I do believe 2 years to achieve her goal of certification in management. She enjoyed spending time doing special things with them such as snowboarding lessons  and movie days time at the old shack snowmobiling and just touring around the hills enjoying the outdoors! Her work career consisted of iga in Stonewall as well as the Dairy Bar in stony moving forward she moved to kleefeld to live with her sister Kim there she worked at Subway as a sandwich artist and moved onto Schmidtke millwork. We decided to get an apartment "with the approval of her Dad" of course in the city where she started working at Centra energy services then on to WCB until her passing! She will be missed by everyone who knew her!! I promise to Kelly to take care of her beautiful children and hope that she is able to rest easy now!! One of Kelly's favorite pastimes was to listen to the oldies!! So in Kelly's honor next time you listen to the oldies please think of her as the respectful person we all knew her to be!!

Dwain Lecoq

My sincerest condolences to all. Rest In Peace Kelly. I am speechless and sending kind thoughts. Big hugs Kim.
