It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin Griffin, who passed away on July 22nd, 2026 at the age of 40.
Kevin was born on January 12th, 1986 in Winnipeg and was known for his kind heart, sense of humour and unwavering love for his family and friends. He touched the lives of many.
He will be lovingly remembered by his spouse Elaine, their children Kaelynn and Kaedyn, his parents Lisa [Roland] and Rob [Cindy], his sisters Melanie (Vance) [kids Daxton & Dallas] and Sarah [Carson; kids Payton & Oaklyn]; as well as his bestfriends, friends and extended family.
Kevin enjoyed fishing, woodworking and spending time with friends and family. He also loved playing different sports growing up such as curling, baseball and had a great love for hockey. Those who knew him will remember the joy he brought to every gathering and the lasting impact he made on the people around him.
Though his time with us was far too short, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of Kevin’s life will be held on August 29th, 2026 at 1:00pm at the Woodlands Hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or a mental health organization of your choice.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude for the support, kindness, and condolences received during this difficult time.
