Growing up in Warren we travelled the Interlake playing ball and hockey. Each town/team had its respective leaders and the McMann brothers filled that role in Teulon. I always admired Larry’s “compete”, and he was a respected by both his own team-mates and those on the opposing teams.

Sorry to hear about Larry’s passing

The Stonewall Flyers and Teulon Tigers had some epic battles. I happened to meet Larry a few times off the ice after we both retired from hockey. We both had stories and shared a few laughs. Such a nice man.

To the Mcmahon family, We have memories. One was Baseball at Inwood Sports Day in 1970's and 80's. The three McMahon boys were always there and fun was had. It was an honor to have known Larry. Hi Kathy and family, My deepest condolences from the Cheyne hockey family. Larry was a legend with the Teulon Tigers and one of the greatest captains most of us ever played with. Kathy you and Larry were always sitting with Stew and Roxy at most hockey events the pub, socials or back at the house, I’m sure some interesting conversations. I spoke with cousin Kevin about Larrys passing and the conversation came up that if Stew was the face of the Teulon Tigers senior hockey team Larry’s face was most likely on the other side of the coin. I am so glad the team had a reunion allowing us all to reconnect. He will be missed but always remembered!
