Leslie Nicole Goresky (Mann)

Passed on January 10, 2024

July 25, 1960 – January 10, 2024        It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leslie Nicole Goresky, age 63 years, on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg.

Leslie leaves to mourn her loving husband Gord of 42 years, her daughter Pamela (Donald), her son Nicholas (Nicole); her precious grandchildren Dallas, Bronsen, Sadie and Andi; her mother Tova Mann; her sister Dawn (Steve); her brother Grant (David); and her numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. She will also be dearly missed by her two dogs Gibson and Cooper.

Leslie was predeceased by her father, George Mann and sister Pam Mann.

Leslie was born in Grandview, MB. on July 25, 1960. Leslie had a passion for music, crafts, art and she had a love for animals.

Leslie and Gord started dating in 1981 and were married April 30, 1983. They built a beautiful home near the Goresky farm, where they raised their two children. Leslie loved to sit by the water and fish, and cherished the memories she made travelling with the Stonewall Carillons and Chorus, her trip with her husband Gord to Europe, and also her numerous trips to Mexico. We hope Mom you are sitting by the ocean, fishing with a mango daiquiri in hand, singing away with your beautiful voice.

In respect to Leslie’s wishes, there will be no funeral. In lieu of flowers, her family asks for donations to be made to the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation and the Winnipeg Humane Society.

Leslie’s family would like to thank the Stonewall Hospital, Stars Air Ambulance and the incredible MICU staff at the Health Sciences Centre for all their fantastic care during this very difficult time.
