Lois was predeceased by her parents Gordon & Irene Kennedy, sister Ruth and brother-in-law Gordon Watson, brother Jack, dear friend Jim Condon, great nephew Jonathan Watson and in – laws John and Jean Ritchie.

Lois was born in Teulon on July 29, 1938. She moved to Winnipeg to work at Eaton’s when she was 16. Lois and Bill were married on October 25, 1958. Unfortunately they were unable to go out and celebrate their 64th Anniversary but they were able to be together that day. They lived in Winnipeg, Stonewall and in 1964 bought the farm near Argyle. The farm was a place to gather for so many occasions. Lois always had the coffee on and you were sure to get some baking or a delicious meal.

Over the years Lois enjoyed curling, bowling, crocheting, listening to old time music and going for drives, especially the ones down to Grand Forks.

They enjoyed many trips out west and to Palm Springs to visit family and friends. Lois had a few jobs over the years, she really enjoyed caring for her lifelong friend Ilene Anderson. In 2019 they moved to Lion’s Manor in Stonewall, then in June of this year Lois moved to Red River Place in Selkirk.

A private family service will be held.

Flowers gratefully declined, if friends so desire, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada, 1 Wesley Avenue, Suite 207, Winnipeg, MB., R3C 4C6 or to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB., R3E 0V9.

The family would like to thank Dr. Prematilake & staff, Michelle Loehmer and the Home Care staff at Lions Manor, Stonewall & Selkirk Hospitals for their care over the years. Also Red River Place staff in Selkirk for their care over the last 4 months. A big thank you goes out to Gerry & Dorothy Palmer, Bill & Clara Campbell and Ila Buchanan for helping out with meals over the last few years, also to all those that have helped out in anyway. Thanks to Ken Loehmer and Shirley Williams for their guidance during this difficult time.

Always in our thoughts, forever in our hearts.
