Murray David Coolidge

Passed on September 10, 2018

After a long struggle, with his family at his side, Murray, of Stonewall, formerly of Warren, passed away on September 10, 2018 at the age of 77 years. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Phyllis, brother Gordon, brother-in-law Russell (Karol). He will sadly be missed by his son Blair (Nadine), daughters Penny (Dwayne) and Krystal (Stuart); grandchildren Adam (Gwen), Stuart, Graham (Ashley), Eric, Neely, Rhys, Kenzie, and Daryn; and great-grandchildren Bailey, Jasper, and Riley. Murray was born in Crystal City, Mb. to Earle and Mae Coolidge on March 13, 1941. Murray enjoyed many years following his kids and grandkids in all of their activities: baseball, hockey, ringette, track and field. He also loved country and blue grass music, spending many years travelling to music festivals with friends. Remembrance service will be held on Sunday, September 23 at 2:00 p.m. at Stonewall Quarry Park Heritage Arts Centre. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Cancer Care Manitoba. Our family would like to thank everyone for all of the incredible support we have received.

Sorry to hear about Murray. Our coach back in the day with the Warren Mercs. Lots of great memories of him as my coach. Always took time to say hi when ever I saw him when back in Stonewall. Thoughts and prayers with Phyllis and family.
