I was saddened to hear of Paul’s passing. Even though I have not had contact with any of the Meindl family for many years I have fond memories of Paul. He was a few years older than me. Back around 1968 our family stayed overnight at their cabin at Twin Beaches where we “helped” build a boathouse. I believe Paul was a carpenter at that time . . . Or at the very least he knew how to how to build. After helping out for a while, Paul brought out the Orange Allouet snow machine for myself and brothers to drive. At night we played cards and told stories till the early hours of the morning. It was great fun. Thanks Paul for the memories! Rest in piece Murray Auld Family friend
