She was also a small business owner selling her beautiful beadwork and jewellery at local Métis gatherings and farmers’ markets. Viewing and cremation have taken place. As well, a memorial service was held on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Cemetery in Inwood, MB where many of Sarah’s family and ancestors lay to rest in peace. The family wishes to extend a sincere thanks to the Teulon Gateway Manor Site Manager, Cindy Ferreira for her kindness and attention, and the Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority Home Care Nurses for their care and service during Sarah’s illness. A special note goes out to Sarah’s Teulon and Yellowknife AA Groups whose friendships and fellowship meant so much to her. We love you dearly for now and forever and will always hold the Serenity Prayer as a guide in our lives because it was so precious for your life and sobriety. God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
