Passed on

1928 – 2023     Sonia passed peacefully away at Holy Family nursing home with her daughter Ruth by her side, August 8, 2023.

Lovingly remembered by her four children, Ruth, Wayne, Douglas, Gordon. Her siblings Nestor, Margaret (Leonard), Joe (Ollie), Audrey (Dave), sister-in-law Toni, brother-in-law Ted. The Vincent family, brother-in-law Bill (Carol), sister-in-law Marilyn and many nieces and nephews.

Sonia was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Jim in 2013. Her parents Steve and Mary and her eight siblings, Bill, Alex, Mike, Nellie, Olga, Helen, Nancy, Vicky.

The family would like to thank the staff of Holy Family nursing home, Building 4A, for the excellent care she received.

A graveside service will be held on August 24th at 2:00 pm, at Christ Church Anglican, 97 School Road, Stony Mountain, Manitoba.
